Common Massage Questions
Wherebouts are you located?
Muswell Hill Massage and Bodywork provides a mobile massage service. Your therapist will visit you at your choice of location, instead of you having to visit a clinic to receive your treatment.
Do I need to provide anything for the massage?
All you need to prepare is a couple of towels, the therapist will bring the table, oils and expertise.
What is the dress code for the treatment?
If oils are used in your treatment, you can undress to a level you are comfortable with but you are required to wear your underwear at all times during your treatment.
How often should I have a massage?
Listen to your body and come back when you need it…every week, every month, every few months…
Usually new clients choose to come twice a month and after 4 sessions once a month.
How many Therapeutic Massage sessions does it take to have results and how often will the sessions need to be?
Each condition and each person gets different results with Therapeutic Massage, so it’s difficult to give an exact number of sessions for a specific condition. However, with my Therapeutic Massage, our goal is to make progress with every session, even if it’s sometimes just a little progress.
Once the condition is under control, a Therapeutic Massage once a month can help to maintain that control and prevent the condition from getting out of control again.
The pressure isn’t deep enough, but I don’t want to insult the therapist’s technique. What should I do?
Communicate openly with the massage therapist. Keep in mind however that it’s a myth that massage therapy has to hurt to be effective. Some of the most effective types of massage therapy are gentle and do not involve deep pressure or pain. In fact, too much pressure can cause muscles to seize up. Here is a good rule of thumb – on a scale of one to 10 where one is no pain and 10 is extremely painful, the pressure should always be less than seven.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept several forms of payment: cash, Visa Mastercard, PayPal account, bank transfer

I swear Kasha has magic hands.
Any time I see her no matter what
the problem is, she manages to fix it.
Due to the type of work I do,
I accumulate a lot of stress that
affect my muscles. I also seat at
a desk many hours and
my lower back is especially affected.

Kasha always takes the time to listen
to me, and has the ability to target
specific areas that are the cause
of the problem. For example
once, my back was blocked to
the extend that I could not
walk or stand. She managed in
one session to reduce the
pain considerately and allowed
me to stand in a normal
position and walk again!
