Terms & Conditions

Muswell Hill Massage and Bodywork  TERMS AND CONDITIONS 
Muswell Hill Massage and Bodywork requires a 12 h notice if you are unable to attend your treatment

 

CONFIDENTIALITY: 

  • Due to the Data Protection policy, all information about clients is strictly confidential.

DURING THE TREATMENT

  • You will be properly covered at all times with a towel or blanket to keep you warm and comfortable.  Please provide at least two towels.

RIGHT TO REFUSE OR TERMINATE SERVICE

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate services at any time.  You may be liable for payment of the terminated session.  In the case of a prepaid session or a gift certificate, it may be considered used if any of the following apply.

Reasons may include (but are not limited to):

  • Medical conditions or illnesses that can affect the therapist's health eg. Cold, cough, flu etc. Please check -CONTRAINDICATIONS

  • Medical conditions/problems.  Pregnancy Massage : Wait 6 months after c-section, 6 weeks after normal delivery  (after doctors checkup). Wait till your 1st trimester is over before getting a massage. This is because your 1st trimester is the riskiest time to lose your baby. If you are one who is at high-risk and has had miscarriages you should definitely wait! 

  • Being under the influence of strong painkillers, alcohol, or other drugs or intoxicants (massage may not be safe if you cannot gauge pain)

  • Comments or actions of a sexual nature- even if you are "just joking" 

  • Being rude or disrespectful

  • If  we are not the right therapist for you and you should see GP or physiotherapist etc

BOOKING

  • 24/7 ONLINE BOOKING.

    BOOKINGS / CANCELLATIONS / APPOINTMENT CHANGES:  email, text or phone call.

    If you suffer from any special medical condition please let us know at the time of booking. Please check -CONTRAINDICATIONS

  • Bookings are subject to availability and we recommend booking early to avoid disappointment. 

APPOINTMENT CONFIRMATION AND REMINDERS

  • Appointment confirmations and reminders are purely complimentary.

  • Booking system sends reminders but the client is solely responsible for keeping track of their appointments.

TREATMENT AS A GIFT/ GIFT VOUCHERS

  •  If purchasing a treatment voucher/booking appointment for a friend, you are responsible for passing on the voucher/information and these terms and conditions to the recipient.

  • Gift Certificates are fully transferable, so if you've received one that you do not think you will use, please pass it on to a friend to use.  They cannot be redeemed for cash, and are non-refundable.

  • Please treat a gift certificate like cash; we are not responsible for lost or stolen certificates.

OFFERS

New client - Cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers (recommendation card/ bday /Programmes etc)

GOLD & PLATINUM PROGRAMMES- cannot be used with any other offers

B'day offer - Birthday Discount for the whole of your birthday month. AVAILABLE ONLY FOR EXISTING CLIENTS

Recommend a friend - £5 off for the any (full price) massage.  AVAILABLE ONLY FOR EXISTING CLIENTS. 

PAYMENT

  • Payment is required by voucher or cash or card (add £1 ) 

  • Treatment prices are subject to change without notice

 

CANCELLATION

  • BOOKINGS / CANCELLATIONS / APPOINTMENT CHANGES: 

    We take them over the email, text or phone call at least 12 hours prior to the booking.

  • .Any cancellation or non-attendance with less than 12 hours' notice is subject to the FULL COST* of the treatment.

Payment of treatment is required within 7 days from your missed/cancelled treatment.

  • Contraindications-If you do not let us know of any special medical conditions at the time of booking we cannot guarantee that we will be able to fully accommodate you.  Cancellation of treatments is subject to the FULL COST *of the treatment

  • Prepaid treatments( inc. Vouchers) that are canceled with less than the required 12 hours notice or non-attended is subject to the FULL COST *of the treatment

  • We cannot accept responsibility for clients' changes to work commitments, illness or personal circumstances and non-show or cancellation of treatments is subject to the FULL COST *of the treatment.

  • Please arrange someone else for your treatment if you cannot attend.

     

TREATMENT CANCELLATION BY Muswell Hill Massage and Bodywork


This very rarely happens! But if we do need to cancel a treatment on the last minute (less than 12h before the appointment) we will inform you as soon as possible and we will give you a discount for your re-booked treatment. 

HAIR AND DRESS

  •  
  • We require all clients to dress in a manner appropriate to the activity being engaged in and keep your underwear on.

  • Long hair should be tied back.

 

COMPLAINTS/COMMENTS

  • We take the running of the business very seriously and we want to hear from you if you have any comments, good or bad, or recommendations for improvements. We can only improve if we listen to what our guests actually want!
